Pride in London Parade

Saturday 27 June 2015

More than 250 groups have registered to march in the Parade this year. It will run from Orchard Street to Whitehall, via Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. The route is just over two miles long.

This year's theme is #PrideHeroes, celebrating the people who have made a difference to our community. Your hero might be Laverne Cox, Alan Turing, Freddie Mercury, Clare Balding or Harvey Milk. It might be a group like Lesbians & Gays Support the Miners. It could be someone fictional or someone who’s personally important to you.

Want to join the Parade?

Only registered groups are allowed to join the Parade. If you weren't able to register in time, you can follow the Parade after the organised groups have passed and barriers are removed. Please follow instructions from our stewards, security and police officers.

Parade route

  • Leave Orchard Street meeting point at 1pm
  • Turn left onto Oxford Street and continue to Oxford Circus
  • Turn right onto Regent Street and continue to Piccadilly Circus
  • Go down Lower Regent Street
  • Turn left onto Pall Mall
  • Go past Trafalgar Square
  • Finish in Whitehall around 4:30pm

Watching the Parade?

The streets will be closed, so you can watch from the barriers. Try to avoid Oxford Street as it gets very crowded.

If you have any problems

Please speak to our stewards if you need any help or hear something that upsets you. We want everyone to feel safe at Pride and work with the police to investigate any complaints.

Pride in London is the city’s biggest one-day event, and one of the world’s biggest LGBT+ celebrations. Last year more than 750,000 people came to Pride in London, and 30,000 people joined the Parade.
