Our #FreedomTo campaign highlighted diversity in the LGBT+ community.
What does Pride mean to you? It might be the freedom to love, be yourself or live without fear. It could be the freedom to wear what you want. It could be the freedom to marry – or the freedom to campaign for human rights.
Who took part?
Thousands of people and groups, including Amnesty International, Bar Wotever, Ben Cohen, Conchita Wurst, David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Gendered Intelligence, Graham Norton, Ian McKellen, Jane Hill, Kylie Minogue, London Ambulance Service, Mary Portas, Michael Cashman, National Student Pride, Nick Clegg, Paris Lees, Ryman, Stephen Fry, Tom Daley and Will Young.
During Pride 2014, over 64 million people saw our campaign on social media. We also reached 8 million people with our first advertising campaign.
We held a kiss-in at Piccadilly Circus on Valentine's Day. We wanted to show that whatever your gender or sexuality, we should all be proud of who we are and who we kiss.
